SUPPLY.com, formerly National Builder Supply, brought me on board as Senior Designer in mid 2015 to aid in their company rebrand. Being a successful business in the plumbing and lighting industry for several years prior under the NBS name, proved to be a daunting task to maintain trust and authority while making the switch to the simpler SUPPLY.com.
Multiple stakeholders, many iterations, and lots to consider in terms of impact made the project process lengthy, but well worth it in the end. Landing on a strong, yet flexible brand was my end goal, which I believe was achieved.
This project didn't end with just a rebrand, but also a complete overhaul of the company's main e-commerce website as well, which I designed. The previous NBS website was not responsive, so the new SUPPLY.com had to be designed to fit across all devices to serve the maximum amount of customers.
The web design/development process was the most tedious; involving loads of testing, QA, analytics, and presentations. Every page needed to be extensively tested on various web browsers, machines, devices, and networks. Google web analytics of certain existing pages needed to be considered in how we were to layout certain elements. Multiple short presentations needed to be made to varying departments, so they could see how the new website and its improvements would impact and benefit them.
In addition to rebranding the company and designing a brand new website, I was also the self-titled "Swag Czar" of SUPPLY.com. Any and every bit of the brand that could be a tangibly enriched item, I designed and created:  t-shirts, buttons, stickers, koozies, flyers, posters, sunglasses, water bottles, etc. These items helped promote and band together the culture of SUPPLY.com, as it gave all employees something to look forward to wearing or sticking on their bags or computers.
In addition to branding and web design, I also took on two big mural projects for SUPPLY.com and HM Wallace's (parent company) office move in mid 2017. I designed, laid out, planned timelines, and coordinated help to execute two large, custom, hand-painted murals. Both are unique in their own right to reflect each business' personality and target audience.
